PAOK Thessaloniki beat the Team Green, 3 goals to 1

The Future Falcons Team Green lost to its Greek opponent, PAOK Thessaloniki, by three goals to one, in Group C of the International Champions Cup.

The match began with pressure from the Greek side, who managed to score a goal in the 10th minute through the player Athanasiou, who took advantage of a beautiful cross from the left side and hit a wonderful ball on the fly, which hit the net of goalkeeper Hani Alshamrani.

And the Team Green knew how to wake up after the goal, so they tried to add pressure in order to equalize. In the 31st minute, Nader Alsaeed managed to score for the Team Green, but the referee canceled the goal due to offside. With the start of the second half, the Greek team returned with pressure, with the Team Green relying on long balls. In the 61st minute, the Team Green won a penalty kick that Farid Hussein successfully executed, announcing the equalizer.

In the 81st minute, the Greek team’s response came through the player Politakis, with a powerful shot from inside the penalty area which regained their lead. The Team Green was unable to equalize again, but Politakis added the third goal for his team after receiving the ball inside the area and hitting it hard into the net, so the match ended with three goals to one.
