The Saudi Future Falcons Team Green achieved a big victory over Red Star Belgrade, 3-1, in Group A of the Al Abtal Cup.
Team Green started the match strongly, and was able to turn its superior performance into the first goal in the 16th minute through Farid Hussein, who singled out goalkeeper Nikolic and scored brilliantly. The Future Falcons Green Team continued to perform well resulting in Farid Hussein scoring a second goal for him and Freiher in the 32nd minute after a second break from the left side, so he hit the ball accurately into the net of Red Star Belgrade. The first half ended with the Saudi team advancing with two goals without a response.
With the start of the second half, the Team Green got a penalty kick that was successfully implemented by Farid Hussein, to score a hat-trick in this match. The Serbian team tried to equalize the score, but Al-Akhdar defended their goal strongly and did not give its opponent the opportunity to score, until the 89th minute when substitute Niksevic scored the goal to reduce the difference for Red Star. The match ended with three goals to one.
