Future Falcons Lose to Austria Vienna (4-0)

Future Falcons lost their match 4-0 against Austria Wien in Al Abtal Cup.

Austria Wien started the match strongly and opened the scoring in the 5th minute through Limpakowali after a team move that sliced through the Falcon’s defense. The Saudi team then tried to regain some possession and find a foothold in the match, with Austria Wien constantly launching quick counterattacks. Shortly after, Austria Wien were awarded a penalty in the 15th minute after Limpakowali was fouled inside the penalty area. The team’s captain, Limiatovitch, successfully converted the penalty to make it 2-0. Despite several attempts from the Saudi team to reduce the deficit, the first half ended 2-0.

The second half began more evenly, with the Future Falcons pushing to close the gap, while Austria Wien also had some more dangerous attacks of their own. Austria Wien were then awarded a second penalty in the 66th minute, which Asani struck powerfully, but Falcons goalkeeper Alshammari successfully saved it.

In the 72nd minute, Limiatovitch robbed the ball from the Falcons’ defense, rounded the goalkeeper, and scored his second goal and the third for his team. Austria Wien struck again just two minutes before the final whistle through substitute Sahinbaz, who dribbled past the defense and fired a powerful shot with his left foot, which went in off the post, sealing a 4-0 victory for Austria Wien.
