The Future Falcons Team Green achieved an important victory over Olympique Marseille, 3-2, in the second group of Al Abtal. This is the second win for the Team Green in the tournament, after they won against AEK Athens last week.
The match started powerfully for the Saudi team, scoring a goal in the ninth minute with a strong header from Fisal Aldulaimi after a corner kick. Marseille team tried to draw, and it would have been possible, but Aldulaimi, who pulled the ball out of the goal in the last moment. The Future Falcons Team Green also had chances to score a second goal, but they failed to do so as the first half ended 1-0.
In the second half, the Future Falcons Team Green managed to score the second goal after Rakan Alkabi focused on the goalkeeper Philon Guizo and deftly shot the ball into the goal. Just two minutes later, Siha added the second goal for the French team after he finished off a ball driven from the left flank towards the far post, making it difficult for the Future Falcons Team Green. Marseille’s team attacked to push for the draw and their pressure increased in the last minutes.
