Future Falcons Team Green lost the friendly match against their opponents KRC Genk team 0-3 in Group 2 of Al Abtal.
The first half was equal between the two teams, since both of them could attack, and they were dangerous on the goals. However, all these attempts failed, and the first half ended goalless.
The second half started with the Genk team being superior, because they took possession of the ball and attacked goalkeeper Faris Aljohani, but he was able to block several shots. In the 62nd minute, the Genk team got their first goal after Notzi’s cross-field pass from the left side, which Claes successfully headed towards the far post of Faris Aljohani’s goal.
In the 82nd minute, the Belgian team got their second goal thanks to De Grand from the penalty spot. A minute before the end of the match, the Genk team added a third goal after a great individual effort from De Grand to seal a great victory for KRC Genk team, which hope to qualify for the next round.
