Future Falcons Program Signs Partnership Agreement with Spanish Club Sevilla FC

The management of the Future Falcons Program, one of the initiatives of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, has signed a cooperation agreement with Spanish club Sevilla FC. The agreement was formalised in the presence of Program Director Ghassan Felemban and the Spanish club’s president, José María del Nido Carrasco.

Under the terms of the agreement, Future Falcons players will have the opportunity to participate in trials with Sevilla FC, and the collaboration will extend to coaches and administrators, who will benefit from work placements at the Spanish club. The agreement also covers support for technical and medical services, as well as access to the Andalusian club’s facilities and training pitches.

The partnership will allow scouts and coaches from Sevilla FC to be present at Al Abtal Cup, in which the Spanish club will also compete. Saudi women’s national team assistant coach Ahod Aamari recently participated in a work placement at Sevilla FC through the programme this past August.

Sevilla FC is one of Spain’s most prominent clubs, having spent 78 seasons in La Liga, winning the league title once and the Copa del Rey five times. On the European stage, Sevilla holds the record for UEFA Europa League victories, with seven successes to its name, in addition to a UEFA Super Cup title.

Romeo Jozak, the Technical Director of the Future Falcons Program, expressed his satisfaction with the agreement, stating that it would open new avenues for the programme’s players and staff, especially given Sevilla’s status as a major club in both Spanish and European football. He also extended his thanks to the Saudi Arabian Football Federation and its president, Mr. Yasser Al-Misehal, for their strong support and continued oversight, which has allowed the programme to meet several of its objectives aligned with the Federation’s vision.

Jozak added, “The program’s players and technical staff will be able to gain invaluable experience from a renowned Spanish club like Sevilla, whose academy is well-regarded for developing young talent. Through this partnership, they will join training sessions and play matches, alongside receiving development opportunities for coaches and administrators to further their expertise.”
