Coach Abdulhakeem Al-Tuwaijri is still taking steady steps towards success in the field of training in the European arena, as he signed a contract with Slavia Praha Club to be an assistant to the Czech first team coach, Jindřich Trpišovský, until June 2024.
Abdulhakeem Al-Tuwaijri, is a Saudi young man who studied engineering and succeeded in this field. However, his passion made him leave engineering and turn to football. He started from scratch by acquiring knowledge, and went through several experiences that allowed him to gain extensive experience in the field of football, where he held the position of coach for youth in the Saudi national teams, and also worked as a technical director for the eastern region in the Saudi Football Federation. After that, he signed with Al-Ettifaq Club as an assistant coach for the first team, before joining the Saudi Scholarship for Developing Football Talent program as a coach for the Saudi Future Falcons. And last June, he was able to obtain the UEFA Pro license, and was the first national coach to do so.
Joining the Saudi Scholarship for Developing Football Talent program allowed him to achieve the goal he aspired to by working in Europe in the field of training. The vision and goals of the program has allowed the Saudi player to reach another step in his professional journey abroad in a different atmosphere according to a clear strategy. It also grants the opportunity to the Saudi coach to prove his ability by succeeding at the national and international level. Through the scholarship program, Abdulhakeem signed a contract with Slavia Praha Club as an assistant coach for the B team. Thanks to his hard work and success in his mission, he signed his new contract with the Czech club as an assistant coach of the first team
Abdulhakeem Al-Tuwaijri joining Slavia Praha and then assuming the role of assistant coach of the first team is an important step towards writing his name on the European football map as one of the successful coaches, as Slavia Praha is considered one of the largest Czech clubs, as they were able to participate this season in the European Conference Cup. They were also the leader of the Czech league. Historically, Slavia Praha won the league title on 21 occasions, the Czech Cup 24 times, and won the Central European Cup once.
Developing coaches and giving them the opportunity to appear in European leagues is one of the goals of the Saudi Scholarship program.
