2024/2025 – A new era for the Future Falcons

The Future Falcons Program, under the Saudi Arabian Football Federation’s scholarship management, has announced the inclusion of the national under-16 team players in the program’s participants in Salou, Spain. They will receive professional input for two consecutive seasons starting from the 2024-2025 session, with the aim of developing up and coming talented footballers as they embark on a professional career in football.

The scholarship program aims to provide the participants with a comprehensive professional program that includes education, training methods, professionalism, development of technical and physical aspects, and professional nutrition, in addition to participating in daily training sessions, matches, and friendly tournaments.

The program, which launched in 2019, initially targeted the age group of 18-20 years and has developed more than 200 players, 42 of whom have gained international professional experience.

Ghassan Felemban, Head of external Scholarship Department and General Director of Future Falcons Program, confirmed that the decision to change the age group was made in coordination with the national and technical teams’ administrations to contribute to building a generation of Saudi footballers able to compete in international and continental sports tournaments in the coming years.
